I. Main surgical operation scenarios
Internal fixation of limb fractures
Used for drilling holes to insert K-wires and screws, achieving fixation of the fracture ends.
Removal of osteophytes/cysts from hands and feet
Perform precise drilling to expose and remove pathological tissues such as osteophytes and bone cysts.
Synostosis of hand and foot joints
Drill holes on the articular surface to create space for bone graft fusion.
Correction surgery for hand and foot deformities
Assist in positioning the drill hole after bone osteotomy and displacement.
II. Operational precautions
Preoperative preparation
The equipment needs to undergo high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization, and it is necessary to confirm that the battery is fully charged.
Select a suitable 2.5mm hollow drill bit and check the secure installation of the drill bit.
Intraoperative procedure
When holding, keep the gun body perpendicular to the bone to avoid bone damage caused by drill bit deviation.
After starting, advance at a constant speed, avoid violent drilling, and observe the discharge of bone debris (the hollow structure needs to remain unobstructed).
After drilling through the cortical bone, promptly reduce the speed to prevent damage to surrounding soft tissues (such as nerves and blood vessels).
Postoperative management
Clean the residual bone debris and bodily fluids from the drill bit and gun body in a timely manner to avoid blockage or corrosion of the equipment.
After the surgery, the device was functionally tested to confirm that there were no abnormalities in its rotational speed and torque.
